About MASSI

Massi Computing College is a training institution born out of Massi Investments Limited Incorporated in 1994. Born in 1995, Massi Computing College has an interest that is vested in offering ICT training to the Zambian Community and beyond. The college has since formed a frontier with advancements in information technologies. We have never slept through the IT revolution…we take notes!

The College embarked on a result-oriented training for trainees of all ages in Short Computer Courses.  Majority of the students enrolled were school leavers followed by people in employment who needed Computer skills to keep their job and remain relevant on the job market.

In the first year, the college had a total of over one thousand graduates.  For those in employment, the college also offered a special program for them which was Client Oriented Training (COT) through which the client draw their own curriculum based on the demands of the job.

To produce graduates capable of handling demands beyond industry expectations!

Massi Computing College gave me a very good basic understanding of computing that has been very instrumental to my IT career. The mode of delivery, the content of the course I did and the then caliber of lecturers was indeed good for its time. I also appreciated the fact that they were organized and were also affiliated with a number internationally recognized institutions and delivered on the certifications as per promise. I took the Introduction to Microsoft office course which lasts for a month. Our lecturer was Mr. Ben and we were about 8 in my class. It was a good class because each student was given time and attention. I learned a lot and the same certificate has helped me in my career and getting jobs too. It was a good stepping stone for me.

I was very impressed on the strategy used to lecture, which was the one-on-one lessons with the lecturer. This improved my concentration levels and comprehension. It also increased my flexibility and autonomy, encouraged critical thinking and much more. Students are assessed in short intervals to check the concentration levels and how well the information has been retained. After graduating, I worked for some business companies as a secretary despite just having a certificate. Now that I am now in university I stand flawless in my assignments and any work that involves ICT knowledge.
